Interior Designer
Join our remote designer network: design rooms in InHouse's own software and guide clients from selection through delivery.
About The Role
InHouse is building a remote network of interior designers to support our clients from first idea to delivered room. This is not a traditional design role. You will work in InHouse's proprietary design software, help clients make confident selections, and stay with them through ordering and fulfillment so every project lands well. You choose the projects you take on and set your own schedule, and you are paid per project or hourly depending on the engagement.
What You'll Do
Work with clients remotely to understand their style, budget, and goals for their home.
Design rooms and curate furniture and decor selections using InHouse's proprietary software and catalog.
Guide clients through decisions and revisions until they are ready to buy.
Support clients through ordering, delivery, and any follow-up so each project is completed successfully.
Share feedback with our product and operations teams to improve the tools and the client experience.
What You Need
Interior design experience on multifamily residential projects, with a portfolio to show for it.
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time.
Enjoy working with new technology and adapt quickly as our tools evolve.
Reliable, with consistent follow-through from selection to delivery.
A strong eye for space, scale, and style, and clear, warm communication with clients.
Based in the United States.
Nice to Have
Experience with e-design services or remote design platforms.
Background in furniture retail, procurement, or client services.
Familiarity with 3D or digital design tools.
